We facilitate connection through public exhibitions and events in California's high desert, supporting artists working in various media and at all career stages.
Origins
Compound YV opened in April 2018 in an empty storefront facing 29 Palms Highway in Yucca Valley, CA.
Proudly Artist-Run
We primarily exist as a presentation space for visual artists to show immersive or experimental bodies of work.
Open Weekends Fall–Spring
We curate group shows, invite solo artists and guest curators, and host a variety of free and low-cost programs and performances that are open to the public.

We are open to the public Fri–Sun, 12–5 in the Fall, Winter and Spring. All other times by appointment. Plan your visit
